PaTH Commemorates the PCORnet 4.0 Kick-off in Washington D.C.

Several members of the PaTH Network leadership congregated in Washington D.C. on February 19 with other PCORnet Network leaders for the kick-off of PCORnet 4.0. This newly awarded phase of funding ensures the PaTH Network will continue as a partner network in PCORnet for the next four years.

Present for the keynotes and break-out sessions were PaTH Co-PIs Kathleen McTigue and Mike Becich, PCORnet Steering Committee Patient Partner Member and PaTH co-Investigator Greg Merritt, PCORnet Engagement Workgroup Co-Chair Megan Hamm; Temple Site PI Sharon Herring; Geisinger Site PI Les Kirchner; Johns Hopkins Site PI Dan Ford; Rush Site PI Raj Shah, and PaTH Director of Research Bonny Rockette-Wagner. Attendees learned more about PCORnet’s goals for this funding cycle, like the 2025 launch of the PCORnet® Playbook to walk researchers through the best practices, tips, and resources for making the best of the PCORnet infrastructure. Speakers also revealed how PCORnet will prioritize patient involvement throughout its programming and infrastructure improvements.

We are thrilled to continue our work as a member network of PCORnet and shape the future of patient-centered research in our region and across the nation.
